PINE RIDGE PARKS SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES

MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO ENTER OR WIN. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Agreement to Official Rules. Participation in the “PINE RIDGE PARKS” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of Crimson Wine Group, Ltd. d/b/a Pine Ridge Vineyards (“Sponsor”), 700 Grove Street, Healdsburg, CA 95448, which are final and binding in all resp. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

Entry Period: The Sweepstakes will begin on 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on May 23, 2022 and will end at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on September 12 2022 (“Entry Period”). To be eligible, all text entries must be received by Sponsor by 11:59:59 p.m. on April 30, 2022 and all postcard entries must be postmarked by September 12, 2022 and received by September 22, 2022. Sponsor’s computer will be the official timekeeper for the Sweepstakes.

Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to individual entrants who are legal residents of, and physically located within the United States and Washington D.C. (excluding residents of Alabama, Maryland, Michigan, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota and Utah), who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where otherwise taxed, prohibited or restricted by law. Officers, directors and employees of Sponsor, Beverage Promotions, and, if applicable, their respective parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates; individuals or entities responsible for the development, printing, distribution, promotion and implementation of this Sweepstakes, and individuals who are employees of or members of the immediate family or household, whether or not related, of any of the foregoing, are not eligible to enter to enter or win this Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

To Enter: There are three (3) ways to enter this Sweepstakes. Entrants may enter this Sweepstakes only once per day, regardless of method of entry.

1. To Enter via a Text Message. Text PARKS to 55678 and follow the directions to verify your age and state of residence. You will then be sent a text message containing a link to a form that must be filled out with the requested information. Once you submit the form, you will receive a message informing you that you have been officially entered for a chance to win. Message & data rates may apply. Text STOP to cancel. By sending a text message from your mobile phone, you are providing prior written consent to receive messages about the sweepstakes and Sponsor’s products and services to that mobile phone by or on behalf of Sponsor. Consent not required as a condition of purchase. Text messages sent by auto-dialer. See your wireless carrier for pricing plan details. Check your wireless phone capabilities for specific instructions.

2. To Enter via Web Site. Visit www.pineridgeparkssweepstakes.com and fill out the entry form.

3. To Enter via regular mail. Complete an official entry form or legibly print your name, date of birth, address (no P.O. Boxes or APO addresses), e-mail address (optional), and daytime telephone number and mail to: Beverage Promotions, Attention: PINE RIDGE PARKS SWEEPSTAKES, 20280 N. 59th Ave., Suite 115-550, Glendale, Arizona 85308.

Any other attempted form of entry not specified herein is prohibited; no automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for message/entry delivery or timeliness of messages/entries, or for the availability of messaging or general phone services at all times.

GRAND PRIZES: Total Prizes to be awarded: Twenty (20) winners will each be awarded one (1) 2022-2023 America The Beautiful National Park Pass, one (1) Pine Ridge branded picnic blanket, two (2) Yeti wine tumblers, one (1) cork pull, two (2) NPCA hats, one (1) $100 gift card to Under Canvas, one (1) NPCA water bottle and one (1) Mammut Backpack. (approximate retail value (“ARV”) $450.00 each). Total ARV of all prizes is $9,000.00. Alcoholic beverages are not part of the prize. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. No transfer or substitution of prize (or any portion thereof) or cash redemption permitted, except as provided herein or at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of equal or greater value in the event that advertised prize (or portion thereof) is unavailable. Sponsor further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to offer a cash alternative for prize; however, the cash alternative may be less than the stated ARV of the prize. All federal, state and local income taxes on the prize are winner’s sole responsibility. One (1) prize per person/household.

Notification and Prize Claims: There will be separate drawings held on July 1, 2022, August 1, 2022, September 1, 2022 and October 1, 2022. Five (5) Grand Prize winners will be selected on July 1, 2022 from Valid Entries received between May 23, 2022 and June 30, 2022. Five (5) Grand Prize winners will be selected on August 1, 2022 from Valid Entries received from July 1, 2022 and July 31, 2022. Five (5) Grand Prize winners will be selected on September 1, 2022 from Valid Entries received from August 1, 2022 and August 31, 2022. Five (5) Grand Prize winners will be selected from Valid Entries received from September 1, 2022 and September 22, 2022. Each drawing will pull only from the previous month’s Valid Entries. Each potential Grand Prize winner will be contacted by email/and or telephone within three (3) business days following the conclusion of the Entry Period (the “Notification”). The potential Grand Prize winners will be required to sign and return, within TWO (2) days of receipt, an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release and an IRS W-9 Form or an IRS Form 1099 (the “Paperwork”) in order to claim the Prize. Administrator and/or Sponsor will review and certify the Paperwork (“Grand Prize Winner Certification”). If a potential Grand Prize winner fails to return the Paperwork within that time, if the Grand Prize Notification is returned as undeliverable, or if an entrant is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not otherwise comply with the Official Rules, then the potential Grand Prize winner forfeits the prize and will be disqualified. If a potential Grand Prize winner forfeits a prize, Sponsor will select a substitute potential Grand Winner by random drawing of the remaining eligible entries. Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check of any criminal records of any potential Grand Prize winner. To the extent necessary and permitted by law, potential Grand Prize winner shall authorize this background check. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any potential Grand Prize winner based on the background check. Even if the name of a potential Grand Prize winner is publicly announced, the potential Grand Prize winner must complete all documents provided and be confirmed by Sponsor prior to receiving a prize. Once a potential Grand Prize winner has been confirmed by the Sponsor, except where prohibited by law, Grand Prize winner’s Entry and acceptance of the Grand Prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use said Grand Prize winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information and voice on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further compensation.

Privacy and Text Information: Entrants will be contacted using the email and/or telephone provided with the entry. By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrant authorizes the Sponsor to collect, use, process, transfer and store all data provided by entrant, including without limitation, personal data, in the United States, or any location(s) throughout the world that the Sponsor deems necessary, whether within entrant’s country of residence or elsewhere, and with such party(ies) as the Sponsor deems appropriate, for purposes of administration of the Sweepstakes. Information collected from entrant will be treated by Sponsor in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at https://www.seghesio.com/privacy-policy/. Sponsor will only use entrant’s personal information to: (a) provide information about the Sweepstakes; (b) contact and publicize potential winners; and/or (c) if an entrant selects to receive additional information from the Sponsor, to send additional information to that entrant during or after the Entry Period. Entrants to the Sweepstakes may be given the option to receive commercial e-mails from the Sponsor; however, eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes is not dependent upon entrant’s consent to receive such e-mails. Entrants must fully complete and submit all non-optional data the Sponsor requests to be eligible. Entrants have the right to withdraw and correct their personal data, but entrants are not allowed to re-submit their entries for additional entries in the Sweepstakes. Entrants’ information will be hosted in the United States.

If you provided your mobile number during the Entry Period and agreed to the terms listed, you are authorizing Sponsor to deliver automated SMS messages to you about the Sweepstakes. You are not required to provide a number as a condition of purchasing any item or receiving any offers. Standard message rates may apply. You may opt out of receiving future text messages by replying STOP to any message you receive (this will generate a confirmation email noting we have received your request). If you chose not to receive automated SMS messages to your mobile device, you will receive the same notifications via mail or via email through an automated email system.

Additional Terms and Conditions: If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes cannot be executed as planned, including, but not limited to, any governmental order, force majeure, social media mandate, printing, administrative or other error of any kind, transmission failure, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, or if the Sweepstakes is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes and, if terminated before the original end date, to select the winner from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received through both entry methods combined as of the date/time of termination. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.

Releases: By entering the Sweepstakes or accepting any prize (if awarded to him/her), entrant agrees to indemnify, release, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor, Beverage Promotion, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies, and the officers, directors and employees of each of the foregoing (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from and against any claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages of any kind (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ and investigation fees, expert and consultant fees, and other litigation costs) (collectively, “Losses”), arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory, including: (a) lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, postage due, or undeliverable email notifications or postal mail; (b) any computer, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections or availability; or garbled, corrupt or jumbled transmissions, service provider/Internet/Website/UseNet accessibility, availability or traffic congestion; (c) any technical, mechanical, printing, or typographical or other error; (d) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (e) any prize that has been lost or stolen after being received by the recipient; (f) inaccurate capture of registration information, or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information; (g) injury or damage to any person or property that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, receipt, use, or misuse of any prize, including any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes; and (h) any claims based on publicity rights, copyright/trademark infringement, intellectual property rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.

Warranty Disclaimer: By accepting the prize, winner acknowledges that Sponsor has neither made, nor is in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to such prize or any component thereof, including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose, and winner will look solely to the manufacturer of any prize for any warranty claims.

Limitations of Liability: By participating in the Sweepstakes or accepting a prize (if applicable), entrants agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, this Sweepstakes or any prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate federal, state or local court located in the State of California; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including, but not limited to, costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) to the extent allowed by applicable law, under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Entrants further agree that all rights under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of California (“Section 1542”) and any similar law of any state or territory of the United States that may be applicable with respect to the foregoing release are hereby expressly and forever waived. Entrants acknowledge that Section 1542 provides that: “A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS OR HER FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH, IF KNOWN BY HIM OR HER MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS OR HER SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR.” The releases hereunder are intended to apply to all claims not known or suspected to exist with the intent of waiving the effect of laws requiring the intent to release future unknown claims.

Choice of Law: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants’ rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of California or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than California.

Severability: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

Construction: In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

Winner’s Lists and Official Rules: A winner’s list may be obtained by mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Pine Ridge Parks Sweepstakes, c/o Beverage Promotions, 20280 N. 59th Avenue, Suite 115-550, Glendale, Arizona 85308. All requests for the winner’s list must be postmarked by July 15, 2022 and received by July 31, 2022. Requests will be fulfilled after the winner is verified.
